About Us

This blog is a plethora of thoughts, ideas, collaborations and advice, brought to you by KristalJacobVianey, and whoever else would like to contribute.

This blog was created on December 2014 by Kristal, Jacob, and Vianey. Our aim was to compile a comprehensive account of our journey to adulthood through introspection. It's nice to reflect on those underlying moments of growth. There is a underrated beauty to it. We share these tales in hope that you'll relate and grow along with us.

Our name was primarily inspired by Taylor Swift's "1989" album. We got our key word from her first track, Welcome to New York

In order to differentiate ourselves from different google searches, we switched the spelling of the word "kaleidoscope" in the middle from an "o" to an "eh". "Eh" is often used as an expression for cluelessness, and we are currently unapologetically clueless about our transition to adulthood.

In addition, a kaleidoscope is an array of ever-changing ideas and inspiration. Our blog always tries to see things in a new light other than just black and white. There is an entire spectrum of color to be explored in the world, in others and within ourselves.

Kristal

Kristal is an almost non-teen who loves being a teen. She loves reading, writing, and finding excuses to do neither. Her treasured pastimes include lip-synching after midnight, talking to herself in the shower, and tricking people into thinking that her jokes are unintentional. Find her on Twitter.

Jacob

Jacob Henrie is a gay boy human with many passions. On his free-time Jacob can be found at the mall spending his entire pay check on clothes or smothering his teacup poodle, Luxy. He can be reached on Facebook or Instagram

Vianey

Vianey is a twenty year old self-identified ranter who can be easily wooed by funny three-dimensional TV characters. When she is not watching sitcoms, bugging her pets, or dancing sporadically speaking passionately about the importance of feminism, she posts every now and then on Kaleidehscope. She posts more frequently in her personal blog. You can follow her on her Tumblr or her Instagram. ❤️
(She is also a strong believer of the rule of three.)
